Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP)


The Delaware Student Testing Program (DSTP) determines what type of diploma the student will receive: basic, standard, or distinguished. The DSTP stands as a measure of academic progress towards the Delaware Content Standards and whether the student and use the material in everyday life. This test covers reading, writing, and mathematics. In grades 3-10 there are 5 performance level: 5-Distinguished, 4-Exceeds the Standard, 3-Meets the standard, 2-Below the Standard, and 1-Well below the standard.
