Kansas Statewide Assessment (KSA)

The Kansas Statewide Assessment (KSA) test has a wide variety of subjects depending on the grade. The KSA includes: Early Reading Assessment –Grades K-2nd, Reading grades-3-8 and high school, Math Grades 3-8 and High School, Science grades- 4, 7, 11,History and Government Grades 6, 8, and high school, Writing grades5, 8, and 11. The Kansas Statewide Assessment (KSA) is given to ensure that students have learned the required knowledge to graduate high school. There are 5 groups for grading, Exemplary, Exceeds Standards, Meets Standards, Approaches Standards, and Academic Warning.
