Commonwealth Accountability Testing System (CATS)


Students take the Kentucky Core Content Test on seven different subjects. Those subjects are writing, reading, mathematics, social studies, arts & humanities, and practical living/ vocational studies. This is a series of state tests designed to measure how well students are learning the material required. The Commonwealth Accountability Testing System (CATS) is a mixture of multiple choice and essay questions.
