Louisiana Graduation Exit Exam (GEE)


The Louisiana Graduation Exit Exam (GEE) is a requirement to graduate. The Louisiana Graduation Exit Exam (GEE) consists of 5 tests, Language Arts, Written Composition, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Students take the first three tests in the spring of their 10th grade year, and the last two in the spring of their 11th grade year. Students who do not pass the Louisiana Graduation Exit Exam (GEE) will not receive a diploma, or be allowed to participate in graduation ceremonies. The achievement levels on the Louisiana Graduation Exit Exam (GEE) are Advanced, Mastery, Basic, Approaching Basic, and Unsatisfactory.
