New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA)


The New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) is a standardized test given to New Jersey High School Juniors. The New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) is part of a battery of tests used to assess student performance. The New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) tests student’s proficiency in academic subjects. The academic subjects include Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. Since 2001 passing of the New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) is required to graduate. The scores on the New Jersey High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) range from 100-300, and a passing score is a 200.
