North Carolina High School Comprehensive Test

For the 2004-05 school year for grade 10, Algebra I and a combination of the end-of-course English I and the grade 10 writing assessment will be used in place of the North Carolina High School Comprehensive Tests of Reading and Mathematics. As appropriate, the United States Department of Education will allow a small number of students to continue being assessed on the North Carolina High School Comprehensive Tests of Reading and Mathematics.
