The Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) will be administered to Grades 3, 4, 5, 7 (Geography) and 8. The tests are aligned to the Oklahoma Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS). By the 2005-2006 school years, Oklahoma will begin testing students in grades 3-8. Students take the End-of-Instruction Tests for English II, Algebra I, Biology I, and U.S. History to fulfill graduation requirements. The third grade Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) will consist of Math and Reading. The fourth grade Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) will consist of Math and Reading. The fifth grade Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) will consist of Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Writing. The 2004-2005 sixth grades Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) will be field tested in Reading and Mathematics. The 2004-2005 seventh grade Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) will be field tested in Reading and Mathematics. The eighth grade Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests (OCCT) will consist of Reading, Mathematics, United States History, Constitution, and Government, Science and Writing End of Instruction Tests will be administered to students who complete instruction in secondary level competencies in order to graduate in English II, U.S. History, Algebra I, and Biology I.
